This market will resolve YES if any standing committee of the House of Representatives reports a resolution impeaching Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas to the full House of Representatives before the end of [the 118th Congress] (whether or not the House takes action on the resolution). This includes if the House Rules Committee reports a special rule to the full House providing for the consideration of an impeachment resolution.
Clarification June 2023: this market will also resolve YES if the House adopts such an impeachment resolution without any committee report.

The House Homeland Security Committee approved two articles of impeachment early Wednesday against Alejandro N. Mayorkas, the homeland security secretary, over his handling of the southwestern border, as Republicans raced forward with a partisan indictment of President Biden’s immigration policies.
In an 18-to-15 party-line vote, the panel endorsed a resolution charging Mr. Mayorkas with refusing to uphold the law and breaching the public trust by failing to choke off a surge of migrants across the United States border with Mexico.
