There is ongoing work on Dwarf Fortress to port it to Linux and macOS, with frequent mentions of it in the monthly update posts.
This market will resolve to Yes if the Steam page shows the macOS icon in available platforms (https://imgur.com/a/1iTihYJ) before January 1, 2024.
Note that this doesn't relate to Dwarf Fortress Classic which is already supported on macOS.

Seems like they are pushing the mac version until after Adventure Mode, so I doubt it will be done this year sadly.
Linux support is released however no words on a specific macOS release yet. It might still work but this market resolves based on icons for available platforms.
