Suggests they have a tattoo ink which:

1) Is safe to use.

2) Fades after 15 months.

Resolves YES if conditional on me getting a tattoo using that ink, I agree it worked as advertised.

Resolves NO if I get the tattoo and don't agree it worked.

Otherwise Resolves N/A

I got the tattoo. So:

Resolves YES if I agree it worked as advertised.

Resolves NO if I don't agree it worked as advertised.

Maybe slightly more? Probably still not enough to.

independent of the market, did this make you want to get a permanent tattoo?

It has faded somewhat since I got it, maybe 75% as dark as it was initially.

At the time I got it, the website said "Made-to-fade in about 9 - 15 months.". However, when I went in person they did a consultation and said that with the thicker lines I wanted and my very light skin it might take up to three years to fade entirely.

I think "as advertised" at the time I made the market is fairly evaluated as "after ~15 months", which would be as of May 2024, and I think if it's still clearly visible I will evaluate it to NO.

I'll make another market for the updated three year deadline which they've changed their advertising to.

How does it look so far?

@miscatulated Regarding the fading time, how many months would it take for you to decide that it doesn't work as advertised?

Does it need to be completely gone after 15 months to resolve YES?

@zQ4Z82W The resolution criteria says "worked as advertised." If you go to their website you can see their current claims and money-back/free tattoo policy which specifies that their tattoos fade away within 2 years for over 70% of customers/eventually for 100% of customers.

They did also mention that their formula has been updated from continued research because some people complained about the tattoo fading too quickly, leading to a minimum 1 year tattoo duration or complimentary replacement tattoo policy. It's difficult to tell whether their current policy was in place as is when Miscatulated got their tattoo, but it looks like the tattoo would have at least 24 months to fade completely, if not longer, before it could be considered to have "not worked as advertised."
