@Oliver Multiple reasons:
The market doesnt reflect how well a person is doing, but rather how people think It will go in the future. since the stock is permanent it is really hard for a stock to fall below 20%. because If it does some people will just buy under the impression of being abel to hold until it recovers.
Also If a disliked person starts being forgotten the stock will rise, since the NO will slowly sell their stocks while the YES want to hold till they make profit.
@PelidesAchilles Should probably be a permanent stock feature that pays dividends based on which way the results are swung. Something to dissuade predictors from making the opposite prediction to take profit, which inevitably brings the % back up/down.
@dL1GH7 That way if you vote no, you're rewarded the longer the market is below your prediction level and vice versa.
