Resolution criteria

As of April 2025, 17 states have adopted laws banning ranked-choice voting statewide. This market resolves YES if more than 17 states (i.e., 18 or more) ban RCV before January 1, 2027. Resolution will be determined by checking the Ballotpedia RCV tracker and Wikipedia's RCV bans list. The market can resolve early if an 18th state ban is signed into law.
