When you resolve Google Jamboard to Yes?

@jgyou Rumors surfaced on Twitter over the weekend.

I think Chromecast will resolve Yes as already on www.killedbygoogle.com showing that Chromecast is discontinued in August.

Ugh. Can't escape the smart TV with ads.

bought Ṁ50 NO

They've recently been integrating this into YouTube Music. Feels like a first step towards killing it outside of there, especially with the recent removal of a bunch of assistant functions

I think This and Dropcam can resolve Yes

Manifold users tend not to think Bard was killed off: https://manifold.markets/jgyou/was-bard-killed-by-google

But someone also made a PR here: https://github.com/codyogden/killedbygoogle/issues/1483

@jgyou Tez wasn't really killed either, just renamed to GPay, and yet it's on that page. I have no idea what criteria they use.

IMO There's a real chance that Bard gets phased out and replaced by a uniform AI branding.
But only the bots agree with me 😭

@jgyou there is no way a simple rename resolves this to Yes if it's fundamentally the same product (a standalone chat app). If anything I'd argue today's rebrand more or less guarantees this will resolve to No

@DanHare We'll see what killed by Google has to say about it!

@jgyou I guess so, but if it does it will have truly jumped the shark (I suppose I should've factored that into my position though)

DropCam - April 2024

Running out of juice in 3 months, Dropcam was a line of Wi-Fi video streaming cameras acquired by Google in 2014. It will be about 15 years old.

A @MichaelWheatley special: it already happened!

Google Podcasts - September 2024

Getting KO'd in 9 months, Google Podcasts was a podcast hosting platform and an Android podcast listening app. It will be over 6 years old
