Why are there so many “will x date y for n months” markets?

I understand it's because of the manifold.love project. Is that project intended to have all betting handled in manifold.markets questions and not in some separate space? If so can there be some way to filter them out for those of us who aren't interested in the dating app (no offense to it's creators or enthusiasts).
