@houstonEuler kudos/thanks for running this tournament! really cool idea, it seems people really enjoyed it

I would have put Diogenes on there.

@Krantz Unfortunately, he didn't make it past the nomination round. https://manifold.markets/houstonEuler/which-16-philosophy-and-religion-ca

houston are the matchups set in stone? Otherwise I wanna see an einstein jesus finale, which I expect is where it’s going

Not as sure about jesus. Einstein def making it there tho

@Bayesian Yeah, they've already been set. It might end up being a great matchup in the Final Four.

could you post the next round here?

@Stralor Thanks for the reminder, Sweet 16 can be found here: https://manifold.markets/houstonEuler/-who-is-manifolds-goat-sweet-16-pla

I'm surprised by the current standings, would've expected Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein to be Top 5, but they're currently not even in the Top 10.

@houstonEuler All time is doing a lot of work. So much of enlightenment thought is rooted in Christianity. In terms of impact, it's really hard to beat Jesus. Similar argument for Confucius.

In terms of greatness, maybe LKY comes close.
