UCLA SETI is currently running a citizen science project on zooniverse for classifying promising extraterrestial radio signals in order to train a ML model to do the same. Will this, or anything else UCLA SETI does this decade, result in them announcing they've found scientific evidence of past or present non-human technology with high confidence? If they announce a selection of candidate signals, or announce with low confidence and one of those is verified as genuine by another party, that also counts.
