Another reason to count Three Body Problem as one book is that I only completely finished the first one. I abandoned the second one at 43% through.

@ChrisPrichard I toyed with the idea of submitting something like Ulysses or the Bible or The Teaching Guide to Economics (3,969 pages apparently) and periodically bidding it up to attract participants, but realised you could just read two pages and resolve NO. (which would still count as "read" here)

@fwbt Ha! I mean, the more it seemed like a "real" recommendation, the more I'd try to give it a meaningful shot, but you're right that if the market tried to troll me I wouldn't feel too guilty about only reading a few pages!
