@traders It looks like the dust has settled on the Minibus bill, and NASA's FY2026 budget is effectively $27.53 billion, its largest since 1998.

Bullish on FY27 spending.

As you can see, the US senate version of the FY26 budget was actually larger than the FY25 budget:

Recently, Congress released a budget plan for FY26 that is 24.4 billion, which basically reverts all of the requested cuts. If it passes, it is still a decrease from FY25 but not by much.

I interpret this as a positive indication for the FY27 budget.

The purpose of asking this question is to figure out if the United States is serious about its lunar exploration program.
