Background:
I have a low prior probability of having diabetes:
Never seen any abnormal HbA1c or fasting glucose measures, no diabetics in the family, I eat healthily, am caucasian, have an academic middle-class background (parents cared about a healthy diet), have always been normal weight/slightly underweight, am young (<25yrs), etc.
So far, I have not had any suspicion that I might have diabetes.
I just got a Constant Blood Glucose Monitor for biohacking purposes (Freestyle Libre 3) and it showed me a spike of almost 250 mg/dl 1,5hrs after eating a Vietnamese rice dish. This is way out of the healthy range (usually you'd expect to stay below 140mg/dl after food).
I will now be verifying with a prick test (Accu-Check) and possibly doing further diagnostics. I do not know what the results of all that will be. Worst case I find out I'm diabetic.
So, will I be diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes in 2023?

When my CBGM was peaking at 215, the prick test was showing just 156. However within 10 minutes the CBGM (which is expected to lag behind 10-20mins) was also back at 159 so it is possible that I just missed the peak with the prick test.
Selling some no shares as I've updated upwards on the device's accuracy, and the prick test's 156 is already above the norm of 140. Will repeat and update.
@elibutchad that includes type 1 as well. Since you don't have type 1, and you're not overweight, the chance that you have diabetes is very, very small. Prediabetes is not a medical diagnosis, it's a risk assessment, so it depends how you're defining that.
@Pandurevich One other possibility is LADA, for whose onset you're the perfect age, but that is very rare as well
