@Lion How is he going to handle the extremely steep and long climb introduced to the route? My understanding is this is the uphill of the part where Remco crashed over a bridge.
@Eliza He has lost some weight for the worlds. I dont believe that he can win against Tadej or Remco 1:1 on the climbs, but the steep climbs are pretty early in the race and if the peloton goes over them in a controlled manner, he'll be to hang on. Colma di Sormanio isn't that steep and he can win small group sprints if he's in it. The steep climbs at the beginning make the race hard to predict and the race can go either way.
