Kidding aside, it's difficult for him to be the overwhelming favorite in races like this one, because he's the one in charge of following all the attacks. Same reason why it will be super difficult for him to win Milano-Sanremo. Montreal has a harder climb so it's easier just to push the pace and then just leave everybody with 20K to go.
