YES
Strictly cosmetic bugs don't count (though please tell us about them anyway!) Apr 7, 11:31am: Also if it's something sufficiently rare and inconsequential (like only happens in one browser set to one locale and doesn't prevent using the integration effectively even for that corner case) then we'd probably resolve to NO. Alright, we have a legit bug report (thanks to Bee and user Jakob Schmidbauer)! REPLICATA 1. Sign up for freeCodeCamp (or visit your profile edit page if you already have an account) 2. Pick a username all lower case, e.g. `bsoule` 3. Go to your profile page 4. Note the URL, `https://www.freecodecamp.org/bsoule` 5. Go back to profile settings and change some letters to camelCase your name, e.g. `bSoule` 6. Go to your profile page again 7. Note the URL is now `https://www.freecodecamp.org/bSoule` 8. Also try `https://www.freecodecamp.org/bsoule` and note that this also shows your profile page 9. Now visit beeminder.com/freecodecamp 10. Click "START A GOAL" 11. Type `bSoule` into the "freeCodeCamp username" input box 12. Click the "CHECK" button EXPECTATA For Beeminder to find my profile info. RESULTATA "No freeCodeCamp user 'bSoule' found"
Eek, keep us posted! (I'm also shy to buy more than M$1 here, cuz insider trading, but I see others are jumping in already, which is perfect.)
uh, so we might have our first bug already... (am i gonna get arrested for insider trading for making this trade so i could comment again?)
Also this market can serve as a bug bounty. If you find a bug, be sure to come bet YES in this market and make some money!
Hmm. I mean, 30% could be plausible? I don't know. I mean, everything always has bugs, so maybe it should be higher. The question is more like "how obscure are the bugs? are they going to take longer than we have patience for in this market to surface?".
PS: The plan is to make sure it's put through its paces, including public launch, before market close. We'll extend the market close date as necessary (but not make it earlier).
At market close, if no bugs found so far, that resolves to NO.
How do you plan to resolve this? At what point do you say "no bugs found so far, so I'm going to assume there are none we haven't found"?
