why would the end of the podcast be announced any soon at all?

If it’s just a marketing exercise for Nate’s new book that comes out Aug 13th, then maybe they decide to end it after since it will have served its purpose.

huh...did Nate say that somewhere? I assumed he just needed an outlet to do podcast-type discussions now that he's not at 538, and enjoyed talking with Maria. It pairs well with the Substack and there'll be lots of interesting news to discuss this year that i doubt it would end anytime before 2025
