Must be 1:1 scale, walk at movie speed, and be fluent in over six million forms of communication, or at least every form of communication that can be enumerated at time of resolution.
@JimHays Yes and yes. And this is very possible! I could see it even happening this year.
@TobyBusickWarner Yes, that part is a bit of a joke. What I'm getting at is whether it could more-or-less perform the basic functions of a protocol droid in the Star Wars universe as applied to our present reality. I would expect it to be independently autonomous, as in more advanced (GPT-level), assisting as an intermediary in communication, etc.
This is theoretically possible today, but I haven't seen anyone build it.
