London will hold an election for mayor on 2 May 2024. Sadiq Khan has served as mayor since 2016, representing the Labour Party. Khan previously won the 2021 mayoral election, leading the first round of voting with 40% (compared to the next opponent at 35%), and winning the second round with 55%. The 2024 election will use first-past-the-post instead.
