From QRI's psychedelic cryptography contest results: "We anticipate a rather incredible wave of PsyCrypto emerging within a year or two at festivals, and then in movies (even mainstream ones) within five years."

"mainstream" means that the film is either produced by a major film studio, is shown in many theatres or a popular streaming platform, or achieves some other reasonable benchmark of popularity (e.g. box office sales within top 100 films of the year).

"depiction" means something clearly meant to be psychedelic cryptography (e.g. seeing deliberately planted messages via psychedelic trip) shows up. Passing remarks that are unambiguously referring to it count, but implications alone do not.

I will use reasonable judgement for resolving edge cases.
