Your answer should have the IATA code in it. When this market closes, I will resolve all answers. If no answer is correct, I will extend the market by another week.

  • Update 2025-07-06 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The creator has retracted a previously proposed plan to award partial resolutions for the correct continent or country.

    • The market will be resolved based on the original criteria: the correct IATA code.

    • The creator is offering to refund any traders who bought shares based on the retracted plan.

I will make my next round harder.

Now that this has been resolved I want to mention that chagpt nailed it on the first shot down to the location in was taken from.

@MaxA what was your prompt? That's how I got iad but I didn't try too hard

@BenM uploaded the photo and told it to focus on the ground equipment, the grass between concrete, and trees in the background - the combination of these seemed unique (North American equipment and a relatively cool climate). Then I tried to falsify its conclusions by looking at major US/Can airports but none had anything with trees interspersed with buildings nearby.

I should probably mention I have a bit of osint/geoguessing experience, just enough to understand what is important in a given photo.

@MaxA Maybe verify its statements on YYZ not having A380 service from Emirates? EK241 goes to there yet your o3 ruled it out for not having service.

@bohaska oh it absolutely makes these mistakes and won't stop any time soon, because all reliable sources of up-to-date time tables require paid accounts or get hidden in pdfs deep inside airline websites. Whatever is public goes into the training corpus but gets obsolete fast.

I checked YYZ myself once I understood where in the world the correct answer should be.

The first answer that gets the continent right resolves to 25%. The first answer submitted that gets the country right resolves to 50%.

I realized this is a dependent market and you can't actually do that because everything has to add up to 100%. Sorry...

I've removed this part for now.

@bohaska why not the first 2 answers that get continent right?

@100Anonymous If I decided to resolve the first two answers to 25% and 50%, because this is a dependent market and probabilities add up to 100% in total, so I would only have 25% left to resolve the actual correct answer.

Next time I would make a independent market

@bohaska 25, 25, 50, resolution

I am willing to refund any traders who bought before I removed this line.
