There should be an official public announcement (like an event or official promosite). Leaks or rumors do not count. The invitation for the event does not count. This is when this is publicly announced for the whole world, not the announcement for the journalists hidden by nda or something like that.
Dictionary
"Public announcement" means that there should be shown the pictures of the product (or the actual product) with some technical specifications.
"VR or AR headset" means some device made by Apple that is put on the head and provides VR or AR capabilities (or both).

Closing & resolving rules
When this market is set up the closing date is in the first days of 2024. In case there are no announcements in 2023 this event will be closed by manifold on the close date and after that I will resolve it (I will not close this market before the close date)
In case there will be announcements in 2023 I will close and resolve this market in some time after the event has actually happened (I can't guarantee the exact time when I close & resolve, this can be any timeframe from one hour to several days)
