The tournament will take place on Sunday, November 19th, @ 3pm CT (unless a majority prefers and suggests an alternative time, in which case I am quite open to rescheduling).
It should only last 90-120 minutes.
The time control will be 5 minutes, no increment. The format will be Swiss, probably between 6 and 10 rounds, depending on the number of participants.
Please avoid adding joke names to the market, as we all know how large numbers of options makes these multi-choice markets become super slow.
@Gen has generously provided a prize fund for this tournament. Some of the prizes may be "secret prizes" which are not known to the participants. You do not have to do well in the tournament to compete for all the prizes; the goal is not for the top players to receive all of the prize fund.

I will try to put up a full list of participants before the tournament begins. I will participate in the tournament but will not be eligible to receive the top placement prizes, although I could "win" the tournament as defined by this market.

@benshindel keep in mind... this is a MANIFOLD chess tournament. You're allowed to collude, throw games, do weird stuff, bet during the games, etc.
