Basically Walter Duranty lied about the man-made famine in Ukraine that killed millions of people for the New York Times and in 1932 won a Pulitzer for it. Lots of people want Pulitzer to revoke the award, and the New York Times sounds like they want to return it, but the Pulitzer board hasn't budged (yet).
