I created 417 markets via the api calls, each of them a Multiple choice market with 3 options.
This costs 75 mana per market via the UI and I found out the hard way costs 100 mana per market via the API calls.
Will I get some sort of refund from manifold for these extra costs?

@firstuserhere It looks like we did have a bug in the create-market api, do you know exactly how many multi choice markets you created?
@oh Prior to creating markets, I asked on discord and consensus was that it was outdated because earlier these markets did cost 100 but the structure was recently changed apparently, and should cost 25 per option only.
Aaand i'm out of an extra 12,000 mana due to this mismatch.
@firstuserhere It seems like they want to discourage spamming and I can understand it a bit when I look into my Home feed right now.
@gigab0nus it's not spam when these markets are fairly popular and have been running for an entire year. You can block the sports group to avoid seeing them
@firstuserhere I like sports and I can handle it one day. It's just that everyones Home feed is polluted right now 😅. So this should be really expensive so it does not happen too often.
@gigab0nus well, even creating 5 questions via api would be more expensive. It doesn't have to be a large scale mismatch for it to be something that should be fixed
@firstuserhere I dont think they have to worry about this scale of market creation from the browser. I understand that you feel scammed now because they never mentioned it, but I find a discount of 25 mana for when you take the effort to manually create a market with individual description appropriate.
@gigab0nus I strongly disagree. Manifold needs to create policies that look into the future and grow with scale. This is not a big-scale market creation, and it is not even relevant. If anything market creation should be incentivized as it is the most attractive thing about the site. More the good quality markets the better it is. And Manifold should be thinking about covering a lot more niche topics and subsidizing lots of markets about those topics instead of looking towards being risk/scale averse.
