Resolved
YES

Real -> Yes

Fake-> No

Lots of speculation cuz it's been the only source so far.

Real means that the event happened, and that the CTO said GPT-4 will be announced next week

If the model isn't multimodal but GPT-4 is announced next week, this will resolve YES, right?

@NoaNabeshima they report:

We will introduce GPT-4 next week, there we will have multimodal models that will offer completely different possibilities โ€“ for example videos," Braun said.

So even if gpt-4 is not multimodal but in that presentation there is other stuff that may satisfy this condition, then it's a yes. I mean, they do have stuff they can demo.

I think it's true but they got the multimodal thing wrong.

@VictorLevoso I think then this market will resolve no because that was the ... headline lol

It looks like the quoted word is "vorstellen." I don't speak German, but that seems to be closest to "introduce" or "unveil." I don't think it's accurate to say that the German CTO said GPT-4 would be "released" next week.

@JacyAnthis yes, announced would be a better world in English

@JacyAnthis Heise has an official English translation now. Quote:

"We will introduce GPT-4 next week, there we will have multimodal models that will offer completely different possibilities โ€“ for example videos," Braun said.

@MaxPayne "there" as in the presentation/event, or In GPT-4?๐Ÿ˜…

Real = reporting on an events that happened, though the reporting might be mistaken/noisy?

@NoaNabeshima yeah, the crux being that this event happened, the CTO announced gpt-4 release next week
