@traders market for this weekend:

I like to experiment, so I'm trying something a bit new. Ultimately I think probably having separate markets for each movie will probably be better:

  • (1) I can add relevant details for context (e.g. last weekend's gross, how much the drop would be, etc).

  • (2) It gives more visibility (e.g. I can't actually say the over/unders in the title)

  • (3) the markets start with more liquidity

Still, sometimes I figure it'd be fun to throw out an over/under to track for even tiny movies that I don't think will get much traction, and so this is a cheap/easy way to add a bunch. So I might try this out as a supplement to normal weekend box office markets (although my bet is I'll prefer sticking with what I know). Anyways once the payout structure changes I'll probably need to reconsider all of this anyways.

(And it's a nice bonus that if people are curious they can add their own low-stakes over/under to this list, although usually there isn't enough demand for that to really be warranted tbh)

None of this is material to the actual market, just some context for what I'm trying here. (& LMK if you have any tips for formatting)
