Full disclosure I don't know my IQ yet. I will respond to any questions in the comment as long as it doesn't threaten my pseudo anonimity. Or if I find the question pointless, or for any other arbitrary reason, (too many questions, ...).

A little bit about me;

I was a promising child (the kikd to be very curious, invested in class, without the need to work at home?, people had a lot of hope for my scholarship.

I caught a phone/game addiction, that ... Made it harder for the studies.

I ended up, dropping twice of university.

I hate, and don't have the motivation to work at my home. I much prefer learning and discovering thing here and there, ...

Feel free to ask any other question.

PS: I will book an appointment for a professional IQ test if at least 20 people bet on this market. (Subject to change, depending on my motivation to pass one (and state of my finances))

12/05/2026 Update: I'm back to Manifold after quite some time away, and managed to find this market again.

I went to a psychologist, for something unrelated to IQ, but who might help potentail trader. And she thought I was "socially anxious".
And I got into university studying psychology, managed to do my first years. And one of my teacher said (possibly jokingly) that I must be "hyperactive".

@XavierBaton And as not to let people mana sit around for ever (if I were not to take a IQ test after all, whata would be your suggestions ? Set a date, after which the market resolves as undetermined ?)

@XavierBaton Plus I just realised, how narrow it actually is, is there a way to open more positions on the more extreme ends of the spectrum without deserving people who already bet on it ? (lsomething like 115 to 125, 125 to 135, ... etc ?)

@XavierBaton I don’t think so. You could make another market. I encourage you to do so.

@JimAusman Makes sense. Does one when the two options are "up" and "down" make more sense for such questions, right ?

@XavierBaton plus it will be an ego boost all together 😌

@XavierBaton (or not)

@XavierBaton updates on the IQ test?

@dgga I will post an update in comment.

Were you at Manifest?

@RanaG No, I'm not in the United States, I think I would have been if I were closer though

Is English your primary language?

@Knuffa Hi, is it not, I'm from France. (Dare I ask, what motivated the question ?)

If you haven't already, I would strongly advocate getting tested for ADHD too

bought Ṁ50 YES

Yeah this description reads so much like mine and many fellow adult-diagnosed ADHD friends' story

@CaelumForder I should probably look for something of this sort.

@XavierBaton I think that’s 20.

@JimAusman Hi, Yeah was away from manifold for quite some time. Thing is the state of my finance isn't the best, so I don't know What precise date would be possible for me to pass it. Maybe going for a "if not resolved at X date, resolve as "unfinished" or "undertermined" or msth of this nature.

You found your way here, odds are that you are pretty bright.

@JimAusman only real intellectuals such as ourselves can figure out manifold

@XavierBaton: have you taken any standardized tests, and if so what scores did you get?

(In the absence of other evidence I am assuming that you are probably not much smarter than average.)

@duck_master I have not. The only "professional evidence" that could hint to a different than avaerage IQ, is one of my therapist (which I thought was a psychologist, but actually not) thought I might be HPI. Which would mean "High intellectual potential" if I had to translate. And I agree with your reasonning. I just regret that the top of my curve is actually just one standard deviation above the norm.

@XavierBaton how do you plan on resolving then?

@NiciusB nvm, I just read the description

@NiciusB i was just gonna respond to you ^^. But I still stick to the description. The tough thing might just be to choose when to pull the trigger
