Elon Musk said he is planning to charge all Twitter users a monthly fee to use the social media site, not just members of Twitter Blue. Will he follow through on this plan by the end of 2023? This question resolves yes if at any point during 2023, all users are required to pay the use Twitter even if the plans are later reversed. I will not be pedantic about a very small number of users being exempted from the fee.

This was never going to happen, no matter how low the price was. It would destroy the site, because even the minor inconvenience would remove a large percentage of users, lowering the value of the site for all other users, resulting in a death spiral.
