Need to know if it's going to go to waste if the cap is reached and the donations after that are still accepted by manifold but not actually donated to charity.

I want some public statistic of live donations for the month so far.

The Manifold team is honorable, you don't have to worry about them accepting mana and then not actually donating it to charity. I would guess the most likely outcome is that they stop accepting mana donations once the cap for the month is reached.
