Universities in England charge Hong Kong BNO Visa holders who have been continuously residing in England for 3 years and or less home/local fee status (currently £9,250/Year) from 04/10/2023 until 23:59:59 01/01/2025 GMT, similar to Scotland's university policy for BNO holders.
The United Kingdom (England/English) government allows Hong Kong BNO Visa holders to apply for the UK Government's student loans progamme despite needing to pay overseas/international student fees from 04/10/2023 until 23:59:59 01/01/2025 GMT.
Critieria For "No" At Resolve:
Universities in England charge Hong Kong BNO Visa holders who have been continously residing in England for 3 years and or less overseas/international fee status (currently on average ~£22,200/Year) from 04/10/2023 until 23:59:59 01/01/2025 GMT.
The United Kingdom (England/English) government does not allow Hong Kong BNO Visa holders to apply for the UK Government's student loans progamme despite needing to pay overseas/international student fees from 04/10/2023 until 23:59:59 01/01/2025 GMT.
Additional Notes:
Basically it will resolve as "yes" if England adopts a policy similar to Scotland's policy regarding BNO Visa holders' fee status in Scottish universities, which allows for home/local fee status after being ordinarily resident in Scotland (usually acheived after 3 years of continuous residency) and "no" if otherwise.
