Background and motivation

The diagram of the uncanny-valley I most often see gives corpses and zombies as the archetypal examples of the bottom of the valley.

However, to me these seem like poor examples, because their appearances clearly trigger straightforward evolved fears (e.g. predation, violence, cannibalism, disease etc.) in addition to culturally-conditioned fear (via depictions of zombies in fiction).

Meanwhile, there are other axes of similarity which seem to trigger negligible or even reversed uncanny-valley effects, such as stylised cartoony/anime drawings.

Therefore, the purpose of this poll is to help determine a better standard for the bottom of the valley, via axes of similarity that don't share the flaws of zombies.
