Currently, organisations in the US flying a drone beyond their visual line of sight need a per-flight waiver under Part 107. There are proposals in the pipeline for making BVLOS flight easier.
This resolves YES at the date where an organisation can get a permit or a certificate to fly a BVLOS drone arbitrarily many times in an area on different flight plans, rather than requiring a seperate one for each operation.
The FAA's Part 108 NPRM as currently drafted would resolve this market YES at the date when the FAA starts accepting Part 108 approvals.
