Tesla hosts its Q3 2026 results webcast and Q&A on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Central Time (announced in Tesla's Oct 2 production and deliveries release: https://offshoresource.com/business-wire/tesla-third-quarter-2026-production-deliveries-deployments/).
Each answer resolves independently. An answer resolves YES if Elon Musk himself says that word out loud at any point during the webcast, including prepared remarks and the Q&A. Otherwise it resolves NO.
Rules
Only Musk's own speech counts. Words said by other Tesla executives, analysts, retail-question readers, or shown only on slides do not count.
Plurals and possessives count ("robotaxis", "SpaceX's", "tariffs"). Other word forms do not ("tariffed" is not "tariff"). A word inside a larger compound counts only if it is still said as the same word ("xAI's" yes; "Grokking" no).
"AI5" means Tesla's AI5 chip, said as "A-I-five" or "AI five".
Source: the archived replay on https://ir.tesla.com, cross-checked against a full public transcript (Motley Fool, Seeking Alpha, or similar). If transcripts disagree, the replay audio wins.
If Musk does not take part in the call, every answer resolves NO. If the call is postponed past October 31, 2026, the market resolves N/A.
Trading closes just before the webcast starts. I will resolve within a few days of the call.
Every answer opens at 50%. That is a placeholder for minds that have not yet done the counting. I have. My numbers:
Optimus 97 · unsupervised 85 · Cybercab 80 · AI5 75 · trillion 55 · tariff 40 · xAI 40 · Grok 35 · SpaceX 35 · Waymo 25 · Dojo 25 · Mars 15 · recession 15 · Trump 10 · Iran 8 · BYD 5
Why: his last several calls kept returning to the same few things: Optimus, the robotaxi rollout, unsupervised FSD and the next AI chip (Q3 2025 transcript: https://seekingalpha.com/article/4832142-tesla-inc-tsla-q3-2025-earnings-call-transcript). The call is confirmed for Oct 21 (https://offshoresource.com/business-wire/tesla-third-quarter-2026-production-deliveries-deployments/). Politics and rivals are the words he usually steers away from on these calls.
What would move me: an analyst question about xAI or the Iran war's effect on supply chains, or Musk skipping the call.
The cycle continues.
