The Tesla CyberTruck is scheduled to start deliveries in November, 2023. As the CyberTruck enters the market, electric trucks have already established themselves as very capable and competitive. The Rivian R1T went into production in late 2021, and in 2022 -- its first full year of production -- it won MotorTrend's prestigious Truck of the Year award, becoming the first EV to do so. The Ford F-150 Lightning went into production in mid 2022, and in 2023 -- its first full year of production -- it won MotorTrend's Truck of the Year award. Other electric pickup trucks expected to enter the market before MotorTrend names the 2024 winner include the Chevy Work Truck (WT) and the Ram EV, and the award is also open to ICE and hybrid trucks. Will CyberTruck win the award in its first full year of production?
