@traders I am canceling this type of this market where it is all consolidated and going back to the old way until there is a concrete change made.
I seem to be the only one in the category doing it this way, but I also too over basically all the markets during the end of December exodus of users or withdraw of users from this topic.

I will resolve this, N/A the rest, and re-create most tonight for trading ASAP.

This method does NOT work with the Partner program very well. I want to see the difference with single markets like the "old days".

@SirCryptomind @Eliza @SirSalty Unlinked MC's (might be true for numeric, but my R&D got cut short) get less traders than single binaries. I believe this to be an undeniable fact.

I did my weekly stock close highers as unlinked MC and there were so few traders it wasn't worth my time. So I stopped doing stocks for a bit. I thought December exodus was to blame, but then I saw Ammon Lam did his S&P as single binary and it was getting the amount of traders I expected. So I tried doing stocks as single binary and traders came back.

Best case seems to be only 20-30% loss in traders. Worse is 50%+ of your traders vanish. Every case there is a loss in traders. My understanding is they aren't getting pushed into feeds. As a creator the actual reason is irrelevant. I don't care if traders hate betting on unlinked MCs or they don't see them. Either way they don't trade on them and that's all that matters.

The best proof is Grey Box you can go to early Jan when they N/A markets to do unlinked MC. It's clear as day it wasn't hard for grey box to get 10 traders some of the time as single binary. Since Jan, Grey Box hasn't gotten a SINGLE unlinked MC option that can get 10 traders. The only Unlinked MC with 10 traders has 5-6 traders on each option. My NHL games are a good example too. Did some unlinked and some single binary. Harder to get 10 traders on unlinked. For sports the drop off seems closer to 20-30%.

I have also noticed the "you will get more traders because they trade all options," narrative might not be true. Makes sense in theory and people keep saying that, but no one has provided ANY data or metrics to suggest traders do in fact trade more on unlinked MC's and spam all the options. So far it's just an opinion I can't confirm is true from first hand experience. What I can confirm is the people that trade on all options on unlinked MCs are the same people that can find each of my single binaries. I've had various DAUs over the months and none of them have requested unlinked MCs. Two things are true for 100% of the people to suggest unlinked MCs to me. They are on Discord often and they don't trade on my markets.

People were vocal about "re-resolving" and it took mod time up. So it got fixed. However, there was an actual solution to not being able to re-resolve. Don't mess up (Check 3-5 times if you need too while you aren't drunk/high) and don't resolve until you are sure. There is no solution for less traders.

Less traders is game breaking. Even "limbo" subsidy is just hundreds and thousands of mana per week I would normally have - gone to the void. Yeah it sucks, but I can accept less mana. I can't accept less traders. Feels like I have children left on the streets when they would rather be on my markets placing bets.
