With the advancements of VR technology and AI, will it be possible to watch live sports games in VR?
This market resolves in the year that a major sports organization broadcasts a game in VR, allowing fans for example to run virtually in the football pitch or in the basketball court together with players.
The criteria are:
The game should be live
It should be a major sport (like football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, cricket, baseball, olympics... Anything to add?)
Fans have to be able to watch the game in 3D through some kind of VR headset
Fans have to be able to move inside the virtual game (obviously their actions won't affect the actual game, but they have to be able to shift their position and point of view at least)
Even if the game should be live and real, the virtual construction can be facilitated by AI
If it doesn't happen by 2097, the market resolves as 2097.

@JustinGrubbs ๐ wow. My original intention was that fans should be able to run inside the courtyard, whereas this is on the court side. It's really impressive though. I'll make a poll asking if this is good enough and resolve the market accordingly
