Earlier today (11th March), the price of Bitcoin passed $70,000 for the first time.

When will it reach $75,000?

Market notes:

• I will split out more future months from "other" as it becomes suitable to do so. If you have bet on "other", you will receive shares in all of these new months at the same level of payout

• If we reach Manifold's limit of 100 options on this market, the final option will be "not before X" so that the market can resolve one way or another.

• I will use Coindesk’s chart here as the source of truth for the market. If Bitcoin goes above $75k, I will resolve the market. If the graph is glitched or hacked so that it doesn’t show the genuine price of Bitcoin that people are trading at, it won’t count.

• This market will be resolved based on UK time. That’s GMT (UTC+0) in the winter and BST (UTC+1) in the summer

• If Coindesk ceases to exist or to track the price of Bitcoin, I will use the most similar website I can find and mention the new source of truth in the comments.
