According to the CBC, British Columbia is going to allow for European standard elevators. This initiative is being pushed through the Union of B.C. Municipalities.

Will this initiative be passed by this time next year? I was recently too pessimistic and assumed their single egress initiative would take years, but that got approved quite quickly!
