As little as six months ago, we were in the position of having more funding available than we could spend on opportunities that met our very high cost-effectiveness bar. Today, the opposite is true—we don’t expect to have enough funding to support all the cost-effective opportunities we find.

Between now and 2030, will GiveWell spend more days funding constrained? There are 2,367 days until 2030. To resolve as "more" or "less", there needs to be more than 250 days of variance from the equivalent amount of time. Specifically, to resolve as "more" GiveWell needs to be funding constrained for at least 1,433 days, to resolve "less" GiveWell needs to be funding constrained for less than 933 days.
