Resolves as YES if there is a significant spike (or steady rise to a significantly increased level) visible in Google trends (worldwide) for the term "Genetic Algorithm" before January 1st 2031.
Here is a screenshot for this trend on May 8th 2024 (downwards/flatlining trend with no visible spikes in the past 14 years):
If Google trends is no longer available on this date, then this market will take the next best proxy system to resolve this question.
If there is a spike (or significant rise) but its significance is disputed, then this question resolves as N/A.
If there isn't a clear spike/increase, then this question resolves as NO.
@Daniel_MC yeah can do. I'm a bit concerned Google with change the metric though, or just sunset trends altogether
@RemNi from what I can see the notes,(when they have changed the metrics in the past) don't have drastic affects. If you're worried about this you could say that you may change the threshold if Google changes how trends work significantly.
As a trader I would much rather take that risk than the risk of a subjective resolution criteria or tying up money mana only to get NAed.
Don't think the mods smile on using NAs like that either post pivot.
