The Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe team recently announced their signing of Remco Evenepoel for the 2026 cycling season. This leaves the team with a large number of potential GC leaders, whose position in the hierarchy of the team and scheduling is unclear at the moment.

I will resolve this market based on whether the rider in question starts the first stage of the Grand Tour in question. A DNF on the first stage would resolve YES; a DNS on the first stage or simply not being selected for the team would resolve NO.

  • Update 2025-08-27 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): - If a rider changes teams (is no longer with Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe) before the Grand Tour, the relevant answer will resolve to N/A.

If someone (probably Roglic) changes teams do you still resolve for them, or then it is NA?

@egroj I was buying No on Roglic options assuming he would change teams and start the race for some other team instead. Maybe that was a bad assumption.

@egroj My current inclination is to resolve N/A if a rider changes teams. My intention for this market was to predict how RBBH specifically will deal with the scheduling of all their potential GC leaders; I think if a rider leaves the team, it will no longer be RBBH’s problem to solve, and therefore outside the scope of the market.
