@bens bears the shame for ending "Double It" Episode 1. This never resolving stock market shall memorialize that.

BUY = more shame

SHORT = less shame

@bens can try to convince the public to lower his "@bens Shame Index" with a donation of any size to an Effective Altruism charity of his choice.

This market's share price can be used to represent a floating unit of measurement. For example, one could say, "I'll pay you 1 BSI of mana if I shake your hand at Manifest."

We strive to be excellent to one another. Community Guidelines still apply. The shame shall be civil. We aren't monsters.

I haven’t heard of this “EA” thing before so I’m trying to read about it and figure out how one makes a donation to “EA”. I’ll report back soon. Doing the research, doing the work.

@bens Not the video game company, to be clear. They make enough on microtransactions.

@Quroe shhhhhhhhh

Wait… why are the high and low limits arbitrarily capped? I realize I actually have no clue how stocks work on Manifold?

@bens Huh... The more you know.

@Quroe there are also… no limit orders on stocks?

warning, i am a utility monster and if anyone donates to an EA charity over this, i will be so wildly deeply hurt that the overall utils for the universe will never ever recover

@fluttershy If I'm reading that right... shame on you?

@Quroe oh no my utils,,, what have you done

I will sell all of my BUY shares if @bens makes an EA charitable contribution.

???

@100Anonymous Be the change you want to see in the world.

@100Anonymous Amazing!

wait how did you create a stock market

@brod Duplicate one that already exists and change the details to what you actually want.

@brod You can use this backdoor method to create any market type that Manifold has ever supported in the past. Most notably, bounty markets.

bought Ṁ100 BUY
