For those who don't know, the USAMO is the USA Math Olympiad. Qualifications are determined by a test called the AMC, specifically AMC12, and the AIME. There are two AMC12s out of 150 points: 25 problems, 6 points for a right answer, and 1.5 for a blank answer. The AIME is out of 15 questions. Then, the index is the highest AMC12 score that year plus ten times the AIME score, and there is a certain cutoff for the index. See the MAA website if you want more dewtails.
Edit: okay, I finally searched up my real scores. See my guessing market.
However, I missed the cutoff last year with 138 on one AMC12 and 132 on the other AMC12, but only 8 on the AIME. Particularly, last year my index was 218, while the cutoff was 223.
This year, I improved my AMC score again, getting 144 on an AMC12 (out of a maximum of 150). The AIME is coming up on the 7th for me, and I hope I can make the USAMO this year. The market resolves NO if my index is below the cutoff and YES if I pass it, and N/A in the unlikely situation that emergency circumstances stop me from taking the AIME. You can ask questions if you want, since I haven't given that much information here.
Update: AIME II today! I thought it went pretty well (detailed discussion is not allowed yet)
Update: qualified with 12 on the aime for an index of 264

@hannah sorry, I was high when I wrote my above comment. I got something from 100-109, and I don't remember what. Also, as I just added to my MOP guessing market, I actually took two AMC10s that year. Sorry about the memory lapse, I promise it wasn't intentional. I did take the USAJMO that year. I've extended the guessing resolve date to the 18th.
@PseudonymousBosche24f Can you add your exact scores? You can find them by searching your name here https://amc-reg.maa.org/reports/generalreports.aspx
@hannah it would be too easy if I did that, no? I would rather you use some of the other things like my tone, which I haven't really deliberately suppressed, or the fact that "at least a few of the commonly online mopper know who I am," as in they have heard of me before
