Description

This market resolves YES if the Met Office officially names one or more storms affecting the UK during August 2026. It resolves NO if no storms are named in that month.

Resolution criteria

• Storm naming must come from the UK Met Office storm naming list

• The storm must be named between 1 August 2026 00:00 UTC and 31 August 2026 23:59 UTC

• It must be named due to impact or forecasted impact on the UK

• Atlantic, ex-tropical, or hybrid systems count if officially named
