In a world where AI has opinions, dogs wear Fitbits, and people marry holograms, the question must be asked:

Will the UK Parliament (House of Commons or Lords) officially debate, question, or propose anything related to corn (maize) being alive, having feelings, or needing legal rights before 23:59 UTC on 30 September 2025?

☑️ This includes:

  • Petitions on emotional vegetables

  • AI misidentifying crops as sentient

  • MPs wondering if genetically-modified corn “knows” it’s being eaten

  • Any serious discussion on the rights of snack-based lifeforms

🚫 This does not count:

  • Corny jokes during debates

  • Mentions of Cornwall or Cornish pasties

  • Anything clearly metaphorical or meant as a jest

Resolution Criteria (Oracle Decision):

Resolves to YES if any Hansard transcript before the deadline includes phrases about corn or maize and:

  • Emotions

  • Feelings

  • Rights

  • Being alive or aware

  • Needing legal protection

Otherwise, resolves to NO.

Final ruling to be issued by the Oracle of Reasonably Concerned Vegetables.
