Apple's current version of the goggles emoji is designed as laboratory goggles. The company has a history of modifying emojis to reflect their own products. This question speculates whether they will do the same with their Apple Vision Pro.
Apple Vision Pro will be available for US Consumers by Feb 02, 2024.

Clear safety goggles. When this emoji was approved in 2018 it was implied to be safety goggles rather than swimming goggles. A year later 🤿 Diving Mask, which is similar in design but used to represent swimming goggles rather than safety goggles, was approved.
If Unicode was so strict about them being safety goggles that a diving maks version had to be introduced later, I figure Apple is unlikely to change it. Although, the pistol emoji was changed to water gun some time ago, so who knows.
@Speed As written it says “replace” along with the specific Unicode, I wouldn’t expect it to count if all they did was add an additional emoji, it would need to be that specific emoji amended to display as a Vision Pro
