Encoded Market: Multiple choice edition

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3

Option 4

This time, I want to do a multiple choice version of the encoded market. This should allow the person who decodes it to make even more profit, since they will be betting on one of four options, instead of just one of two. The title, description, and options are all encoded in the same way: Every character in the original text is replaced by two printable characters whose ascii values sum to that of the original, mod 95. There are, of course, 95 pairs of characters that will work to replace each character in the original text, and which one is used is determined randomly. But even though the encoding is non-deterministic, it is reversible - to decode it, just add the ascii values of each pair of characters together and find the character whose ascii code is the same mod 95. This maket will be considered decoded once someone posts the full decoded title, description, and options in the comments. The first person to do that gets to choose how it resolves. If the market closes before it's decoded, I will extend the closure date for another month until it is solved.

@PlasmaBallin I would like option 1 to resolve yes

@Conflux any chance this is something you're into?

it could be … I’m not sure where to start though

I think I need to give another clue. The encoding is non-deterministic.

same tbh

Still no solution 😥

The previous encoded markets all started with T in the beginning and the first word in them was "The"... but this doesn't...

@bohaska But... if you add the ASCII numbers for the 1st and 2nd characters, you get 84, which is the ASCII value for T

nvm

The secret code here isn't actually that much different from the previous two codes (which you can see by looking at the already resolved markets in the "Encoded Markets" topic). I would say it's just as simple as the other two, but not as obvious.

This IS solvable, correct?

@crowlsyong Yes. The code isn't that much different from what I did in the previous versions.

This is awesome. Bummed that I just found it. If you do another one, I'll put in the work. I'm scrambling right now to figure this out in less than 40 minutes right now haha

@JoeyCrowley Well, I have good news for you. The description says that the closure date is extended for another month every time it closes, until someone finally decodes it.

As stated in the description, since no one solved it, it stays open for another month.

@JosephNoonan by the way the markup engine seems to have garbled a part of the description.

@a2bb Thanks for catching that. You're correct, the markup engine removed two underscores from the description.
