Currently, the only way to resolve a multiple choice question is to fully resolve it, i.e., resolve one option to YES and all others to NO, resolve all options to a probability that adds up to 100%, or resolve the whole market to N/A. But often, it would be useful to be able to resolve some options to NO without resolving the rest of the market. For instance, "What decade will the first Mars landing occur?" could have each decade resolve to NO as the decade passes without a Mars landing occurring, allowing people who bet NO to get their mana back without having to wait for the Mars landing to actually happen. The rest of the options would continue to be traded on, functioning like a normal multiple choice market with those other options eliminated.
This market resolves YES if it is possible to resolve individual options to NO in multiple choice markets without resolving the whole market at any point before the closure time. It would also be useful to have this feature for free-response markets (perhaps even more so, since authors could immediately resolve duplicate or invalid answers to NO) or to resolve individual options to other resolutions (except for YES, since that would resolve the whole market), but that is not required for this market to resolve YES.
