NO

This market will resolve YES if both of the following hold:

  • LK-99 turns out not to be a real superconductor after all.

  • At least ten people in the comments explain how they have met friends because of LK-99 in the comments before the end of 2023.

Otherwise , it resolves NO.

Only one person in the comments met a friend because of LK-99. It appears that we did not meet enough friends along the way.

I met the woman who is now my wife because of LK-99! We have been happily married for 7 years. ;p

@DanielParker This falls under, "I won't count comments that are known or suspected with very high probability to be false."

I became a friend with Iris Alexandra thanks to LK-99.

I don't know if this counts but I laughed with a couple guys about about LK99 memes, that said I didn't suddenly have memories of my dearest Jonathan from boarding school.

@AmandaSmith Were any of these guys new friends who you met because of the superconductor, or did you already know them before?

@JosephNoonan Yes new did not know them before but also did not maintain contact because I think internet relationships are weird

@AmandaSmith Okay, I will not count it then, since you don't consider them friends.

If I made a comment telling I made friends along the way but it is not true, can I made my comment to increase the YES outcome ? (And if the superconductor is not like how it is describe in the article.)

I will not make this comment but it seems to be a market on the likeliness of the superconductor if the answer to my question is yes...

@LeaN I will go by the honors system for the comments, but I won't count comments that are known or suspected with very high probability to be false.

@JosephNoonan Ok I think it is a good solution
