@BTE Student of Aristotle and best friend of Alexander the Great.

@BTE What, was Ptolemy Egyptian? What's the cutoff for Egyptian and Pharaohs vs. later empires?

@PatrickDelaney He was a pharaoh. Succeeded Alexander when he died. This dynasty ended with Cleopatra.

Akhenaten because he arguably invented monotheism (although nerds will insist it was technically henotheism), and because he was the most mysterious pharaoh whose bizarre reign and upending of Egyptian religion we still don't fully understand.

@Dfe2f + Aten has made Manifold:

"How manifold it is, what thou hast made!
They are hidden from the face (of man).
O sole god, like whom there is no other!
Thou didst create the world according to thy desire,
Whilst thou wert alone: All men, cattle, and wild beasts,
Whatever is on Earth, going upon (its) feet,
And what is on high, flying with its wings."

His tomb became one of the most famous ancient artifacts in history.

@Eugger yeah but he was likely just a complete figurehead since he was only 19, right?

@Joshua

He had the heart of the cards!
